One Long Week

After last weeks lost, We had a Friendly game scheduled to play Cantu, which is one division ahead of us. I had gave them the business 4 years ago in a Euro Cup game when I played for Koln, But of course they had a different squad. Cantu had my dude Kev Pickney from Upland California, who I've been playing against since High School, and my dude BJ Elder from G-Tech who I played against in Germany, and a few other guys who could go.  It wounded up being a pretty good game with a lot of good ball being played. We Eventually came up with the win and I finished with 28 Pts and 13 Rebounds. It was a good look for me and the team because we had dropped two in a row and we needed some good momentum going into Sundays game.

The Next day, Uncle Tony and I went to go see Alex again, except for this time we went to her home town Carpi, which is a 15 minute train ride. Everything was shut down except for a few resurants. We walked around, had a coffee of two, and  grabbed a bite from spot which later on we realized had ripped us off.  I'm going to find out the name of that place so I can let it be known.  Anyway, Alex seemed to open up just a little more than our previous visit so that was cool.  We said our goodbyes and headed back to Reggio.

Sunday rolled around and before you knew it, It was time to rock out again. It was a pretty tight game, But we pulled away towards the end  with a much needed win. I did my thing, with another double double. 17-1o.  So now we have one more chance at making this playoff push, but it depends on us winning this Sunday and a few other teams losing. So stay tuned and see what happens next.

Easter with Alex and Uncle Tony

I never thought I would spend Easter Sunday in Mantova Italy, but thanks to the Lord I was able to spend a day with Uncle Tony and his Daughter Alex.  She Lives in Carpi Italy witch is 10 min away from Reggio. Alex was born in Los Angeles but moved back to Italy where her mother is from. I couldn't believe how big she has gotten. Her first language is Italian, so Tony and I were trying to get her to talk to us in English but she was acting like she was shy. We had lots of fun and it was good to get away and spend Easter Sunday with family and take a little break from hoops. Enjoy the pics

The Good, The Bad, The lovely

My boy Julien aka Swiss Beats who I attended prep school with "99-2000" drove down to see me get down.  Not only did we lose, I picked up two early fouls in the first half and was out of rhythm for the entire game. We were up by 1 with 4 seconds left and their point guard pulled up and hit nothing but the bottom of the net giving us another loss.  After the game We had plans on going to Milan to go see "Swiss" lil brother play in a Soccer match that was scheduled on Sunday.  I was feeling pretty bad after the loss and wanted to isolate myself and drown in my sorrows.  Uncle Tony and Swiss told me to let that game go, focus on the next one and go to Milan and relax.  I took their advice and did just that.  We  drove down there and went to a club where we met up with my guy Mike Hall who I played in the D League with a few years back.  The next morning we went to go visit some shops and walked around the city  and flicked it up. Later on that evening, we got ready and went to the game to see AC Milan and Philippe get down. I was real excited because not only was it my first Soccer game but I was going to support my boys lil brother who is a beast.  The team he plays on has a roster filled with big names like Dave Beckham, Ronaldinho, Clearance Seedorf, and many more greats. The game was tied at 0-0 for pretty much the whole game, and Philippe scored the goal to give them the lead and the momentum for the rest of the game. Defitnitly an experience that I will never forget. You would have to be there to actually appreciate a Soccer game.   I want to give a shout out to my guy Mike Hall who is doing his thing for AJ Milano, Good looking out boy for the VIP treatment. Shout out to my dude Swiss for taking care of me and Uncle Tony, good looking out boy boy; I needed that.... ten years later lol.  I want to Shout out Philippe Senderos " The Future", You did your thing boy, That was was your goal, Tell Dinho you need your percentage of that bonus lol. I also want to thank Clarence Seedorf "the legend" and his wife Luviana for the wonderful dinner at their sushi bar / restaurant called Finger's". As far as I'm concern,  hands down the best Sushi Restaurant in the World.  A must come place to visit if you are ever in Milan.  I Really enjoyed myself for a change.
