Blogging Anyway

We have 5 games left in the regular season, and it's either win or go home. Quite Frankly I'm not ready to go home, especially not on a losing tip. Time to regroup and go out in a blaze of glory.  My uncle Tony Just flew in to keep ya boy some company and to get it in OT in the Gym. We getting extra shots up, and extra sets and reps in the weight room.  I just can't take no for an answer anymore, I feel like I have alot to prove out here. I mean I felt like I was having a All-Star season in the D-League and when I wasn't selected,  It kinda pissed me off.  Stay tune for the General and his war tactics.

Happy Birthday To Me

Had to get clean on em. The beard is a thing of the past, and plus it was starting to itch.  A few Rabbits for dinner and Champagne to sip, Grown man stuff.  Not to often you get to spend a Birthday in Italy, so I made the best out of it.  Check out the pics.

Victory @ Last

I was missing on the blog scene for a week because I felt the need to go overtime in the Lab ( basketball gym). The outcome ,  we got a home Win and that big monkey off of our backs. Winning is such a good feeling, especially when your birthday falls on the next day.  What can I say, Happy Birthday To myself!  I turned 28 today and I feel Great. I must give thanks to My lord and Savior Jesus. Where I'm from, you're lucky to make it past 21. Shout out to You Jesus.
I still haven't figured out what to do Today. One thing is for sure, I'm going to spend the day giving thanks to God.  I wish my Family could be here to celebrate this special occasion with me, but "These are the breaks".  I might go into the city and do a little shopping, who knows, whatever I decide to do I will let it be known.

Two Loses in a Row

I'm not feeling this losing stuff.  Nobody likes a loser, and losing overseas is like committing a crime.  Let me explain. We practice Tuesday through Saturday, Play on Sundays; and Mondays we get the day off.  If we're lucky, we might have a scrimmage game in the middle of the week. When I   Played in the D-league, it was a little different.  If we lost a game, we looked forward to playing a few days later. In some cases, the very next day.  Now losing over here is torture. The week goes by so slow,  and everybody is in a bad mood from the GM to the ball boy. Depending on the organization, some teams will withhold pay if your team keeps losing, and there is not much you can do about it. Imagine that.  No matter how good an individual is, Basketball is a team sport. We have to figure out a way to win with the team we have now. We Have good players on our team, but if we can't gel together on both offense and defense, it means nothing and we will continue to lose to teams that we are better than.  I just hope we figure it out before it's too late.

Rise & Shine ( Game Day)

It's a beautiful day in Naples, and a better day to get a win.  Breakfast wasn't the Best, shoot around went well, and lunch was pretty darn good.  After I finish this post, I'm going to throw on some A Keys and get some shut eye. Lord willing we will be Victorious tonight! Wish me luck.

On The Road

We just flew into Naples Italy. The flight was about an hour long, and we Just checked into our hotel. We have a big game tomorrow and I'm feeling pretty good. Since last Sundays lost, we have been preparing all week  long for tomorrows evening match. I didn't have too much time to blog this week, but I did take some pretty interesting pictures that I will share on Monday. Until next time. One Love

Throw Back Flick "74

I was on my Mothers facebook page today, yeah My Mom has a facebook and a myspace page. ( I bet your Mom does too) Anyway,  I stole this priceless pic from her. You gotta love the fro, and what I like most about this pic is her footwork. (Chuck T's baby!!!) I love you Mom, and I miss you. PS" No One on the Corner has swagga like US".

Back in the Lab

You have two options when you lose. Either you can sulk and feel sorry for yourself and let your emotions get the best of you, or you can go back to the drawing board, correct your mistakes and work on your strengths. I'm going to go with option two. So the lab is where I will be all week.  Yours truly

Hello New Spot

Staying in a hotel is cool, but after a while you start to get a little homesick.  Nothing can replace home so you need a homelike environment.  Today is the day I moved into my new spot. It's not too big but it's nice. In Europe this is your typical flat. (British term for apartment) Well, I hope you enjoy the tour.

Goodbye Hotel

Overall I give this hotel a 8/10.  The only thing I really disliked, was the internet connection(room 305). Sometimes I would lose a connection for a whole day. Unbelievable!! Shoutouts to Marco, and Margarita. They must have brought me room service a million times. Kool Peeps.  Oh I almost forgot, They have these crazy hand carved wood sculptures in the lobby. I took some pictures of them. Hope you could appreciate the art

Mondays are My Sundays

Since we play on Sundays, I treat Monday like the Sabbath Day.  I sleep in, Listen to a podcast sermon on oasisla.org,  call friends and Family, pray and give thanks to My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Because without him, I would have no purpose in life and none of this would be possible. Glory 2 God.

Fell Short

My first home game we took a "L".  Finished with 26 pts and 17 rbs, But my individual effort wasn't good enough. The reporter is speaking to me in Italian. I'm acting like I know what he's talking about. lol

New Country, New Team, and New #

Let's go # 5.   See you after the Game.

Off to the Game

I got a rental, and it's very small, but it gets the job done. Thinking about throwing some D's on this whip. What you think?

Pre Game Nap

The Pre Game Nap is just as important as the meal.  When I was playing in the d-league(NBA Development League) this past season, whenever we stayed in a Hotel, they would assign two players to one room. Now, I'm talking about two grown men! That never made sense to me, but heck that's what a minor league is about.
So yeah, me getting my own room is a big deal!
Shout out to my old teammates back in Sioux Falls(Bobby, Chris, DB, Twin, John, Nitty, KB, MJ, and Sinsay El. I miss you sorry suckers! Shout out to NAte, Tony, Dust, Tann and the rest of the staff @ the Skyforce office. Got love for the Sioux!!

Pre Game meal

You are what you eat. With that being said, I like to eat free range chicken.  If you don't know what "free range" means, let the General school you.  Free range is a method of farming where the animals are allowed to roam freely instead of being contained in a crowded area. There for, the chickens are more healthy because they run around all day.
Back to my meal. Along with my free range chicken, I like to have grilled potatoes, salad, fresh fruit and fruit juices,  and one liter of spring water. The bread and breadsticks I usually feed them to the pigeons.  I need all the natural energy I can get.

Game Day (shoot Around)

Just finished getting some shots up, doing a few drills and stretching.  Feeling pretty good! ( Picture taken by Alvin Young)  Appreciate it my dude.

Game Day ( arriving to shoot Around)

Don't  ever judge a book by It's cover. This is the outside of our Gym in Reggio. It has so much graffiti on the building, you would never know that there was a basketball gym inside. By the way, this artist is sick!!!!

Dinner With some of my Teammates

Team camaraderie is very important when trying to accomplish something legendary on the Basketball Hardwood (pause).

Exclusive footwork!!

For those that don't know, " footwork" is another name for "kick game". If you don't know what "kick game" means, then I can't help you out. Hope you get the picture (literally)

First few weeks in the City

I have a car,  but the gym is only five minutes away from my hotel ( still waiting on my apartment). When the Sun is out, I have no problem walking to the Gym. I could take scenic pics like this one
